ONE STUDENT AT A TIME
Silicon Valley couple Milliardaire & Yves-Renee Syverain, began work for children in Haiti in 2007. They saw developing world challenges and their devastating effect on families – forcing many to give up on their children simply due to their inability to provide for them. Friends and Children of Haiti nurtures and empowers families in difficulty to adequately provide for their children through emotional, social, educational, and financial support, ensuring children remain in school. We provide services for youth development, children’s education, kids’ empowerment, child sponsorship, child well-being, child education support, youth mentorship, youth advocacy, and kids’ community engagement. Friends and Children of Haiti Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to promoting student exchange, student promotion, and social development, and to building a top-notch Institute of Technology in Haiti (HIT) within ten years.
We need volunteers, not necessarily your money, to help sustain these programs in the field, in Haiti. Challenge yourself today!
We know that children thrive when their families can afford to send them to school. We aim to keep them there.
How can you help? You can volunteer!
Even the shortest visit makes a big difference.
